Eyemate was founded in 2022, opening its first clinic in Boudha, Kathmandu, with a clear vision: to make quality eye care and affordable, high-standard eyewear accessible to people across Nepal. What began as a small initiative has now grown into a trusted eye care network with three branches, located in Boudha, Shankhmul, and New Baneshwor. Founded by three dedicated eye-care professionals with a combined experience of over ten years, Eyemate is built on compassion, expertise, and a commitment to providing comprehensive eye services for all age groups. Our team believes that good vision is the foundation for a better quality of life, and we work every day to ensure that accessible eye care becomes a reality for communities throughout Nepal.
Beyond clinical services, Eyemate is deeply involved in humanitarian and community outreach programs. We regularly organize free eye camps in rural areas, bringing essential eye examinations, treatments, and eyewear to underserved populations. Our mission extends far beyond our clinics—we strive to uplift communities by restoring and protecting sight wherever we can. One of our most meaningful initiatives is the Eyeglass Bank, a unique program that encourages people to donate their gently used eyeglasses. These donated glasses are refurbished and provided to those in need. To inspire participation, Eyemate offers special discounts on premium coated lenses or even a free pair of hard-coat lenses within selected power ranges as a token of appreciation. At Eyemate, we are committed to blending quality, affordability, and social responsibility. With every patient we serve and every community we reach, we move one step closer to our vision of accessible, reliable, and compassionate eye care for all of Nepal.
